Reading a verdict

Verdicts, confidence, artifacts and hashes.

Every finished scan produces one report. It has a verdict at the top, a list of artifacts underneath, and the full log of the scan.

The verdict

A scan ends in one of two verdicts:

VerdictMeaning
FLAGGEDAt least one artifact matched something known.
CLEANNothing matched at the moment of the scan. You still get the full log and the same hashes.

Clean is evidence, not proof

A clean report means nothing matched when the scan ran. Use it alongside staff judgement.

Artifacts

Each artifact is something the scanner found on the player's machine: a resource, a signature match or a client file. Flagged artifacts carry a weight showing how much they contribute to the verdict.

Exporting

Reports export as JSON, CSV or PDF. Enterprise plans can also read them through the API. Who can open raw artifacts depends on staff roles. See Dashboard and webhooks.
