Accounts and licences
Signing in, adding a licence key and the dashboard.
Your Trace account is where your licences, sign-in methods and (for admins) the admin panel live.
Signing in
Use any of three methods, and connect more than one from Settings:
- Email and password, at least 8 characters.
- Google, which shares your name, email and picture.
- Discord, which shares only your Discord ID, username and avatar.
Accounts aren't merged by email
If an account already uses your email, a new Google sign-in won't silently join it. Log in the way you signed up, then connect Google or Discord from Settings. This stops anyone who registered your address from taking over your other logins.
Adding a licence
Licences bought while you're signed in appear on your dashboard by themselves. For anything else:

Find your key
It's in your receipt email and looks like
TRC-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. -
Open Licences
Go to Dashboard → Licences and paste it into Add a licence.
A key can belong to one account at a time. If it's already linked elsewhere, ask in Discord.
Licence status
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Active | Paid up and renewing. |
| Lifetime | One payment, no renewal. |
| Cancels at period end | Works until the paid period ends, then stops. |
| Payment failed | The last renewal didn't go through. Update your card in the billing portal. |
| Cancelled | No longer active. |
Deleting your account
From Settings → Delete account. Your licences stay valid and can be added to a new account with their keys.
